LIBLI
Independent concepts

Studies in clarity.

Three self-initiated concepts exploring editorial rhythm, visual identity and digital collections. These are design studies, not commissioned client projects.

01 / Editorial design

Room to read

A publishing system that gives long-form writing a clear, unhurried rhythm.

LIBLI / Independent concepts / 01Words.
And room.

A concept for a small independent journal. The system balances expressive titles with a restrained reading surface, using scale to establish a clear hierarchy.

The decision

Keep the reading column comfortable and the text rhythm consistent. Let titles change scale without introducing a different visual language on every page. Captions can be secondary and still remain easy to read.

02 / Visual identity

One considered accent

Using a limited palette to direct attention across a coherent visual system.

LIBLI / Independent concepts / 02One detail.
A clear focus.

An identity study built from a neutral foundation and one active colour. The accent marks meaningful moments and connects different formats.

The principle

Give colour a defined job: a selected state, an action, a key phrase. If everything asks for attention at once, nothing stands out. A restrained background makes each exception more useful.

03 / Digital design

The small library

A collection organised around familiar words and a predictable reading order.

LIBLI / Independent concepts / 03Find.
Read. Return.

A structural study for a digital reading collection. A few clearly named sections replace a complex taxonomy, letting the content establish the character of the interface.

The structure

A title, an author and a short description often provide enough context to compare entries. Keep that information in a consistent order. Add filtering only when the collection becomes difficult to navigate without it.
